These are a few of my favorite things!

I thought I would do a post today about what Owen and Claire are into these days! Owen is at such a fun and creative age and I love seeing how he plays using his imagination! Claire is our feisty and sassy little girl. She is so full of personality that sometimes it is a bit much! Owen starts preschool during the 2nd week of September and he us SO excited! We went and bought "preschool" shoes for him today and this weekend I am going to go shopping for the kids' fall and winter wardrobe.

My pregnancy is going along normally (as far as we know) and everyday is a new day...sometimes I am completely tired and queasy and others I am energized and feeling really well! The kicks, punches and squirms are getting more numerous and I love it! We are still trying to figure out a name for this little guy...it may come down to deciding after he is born!

Owen (4 years old):

* Loves Dinosaurs and going "dinosaur hunting"

* Loves to dig in the dirt in the backyard and build his houses and roads

* Loves jumping in puddles and will jump in one no matter how big or small

* Loves to torment Claire

* Loves to hug and kiss Claire

* Really enjoys reading and looking at books

* Cannot wait to start preschool

* Loves riding his Spiderman bike around the neighborhood during walks

* Likes driving his Jeep Powerwheels but loves slamming on the brakes and skidding down the driveway even more

* Loves rough-housing with Neil

* Loves to help us out around the house...washing and cleaning the car, doing laundry, yard work, etc.

* Still loves to play with cars, trucks, and bulldozers

* Has an arm on him when throwing balls and can really hit a golf ball!!

* Foods: yogurt, pizza, hotdogs, fruit snacks, cantaloupe, strawberries, most vegetables, cheese, cereal

Claire (17 months):

* Loves stuffed animals and if she sees one in a store she goes CRAZY!

* Loves baby dolls

* Sleeps with about 10 different things in her crib: her light up turtle, sea horse, a couple of books, sippy cup of water, stuffed animals and baby dolls

* Loves carrying around a piece of clothing: her pjs, Owen's socks or underwear (clean), and any other piece of clothing she can get her hands on!

* Enjoys riding with Owen in his Jeep Powerwheel

* LOVES riding in her wagon during walks around the neighborhood

* Loves pushing her strollers around the house...with or without a baby doll in them!

* LOVES shoes and will get upset if we are trying them on in the store and I do not keep them on her feet!

* Loves bath time

* Loves playing outside with Owen and will dig in the dirt right beside him or let him dump water all over her from the water table!

* Loves bubbles

* Loves Rocks and will pick them up whenever she sees them. She actually enjoys pushing them in her stroller more than her babies.

* Will wave and say bye-bye to just about anyone!

* Animal sounds she knows: cow, dog, cat, lion, tiger, dinosaur, duck (kind of)

* Foods: pretty much anything. She is not too crazy over chicken nuggets unless they are from Chick-Fil-A, she is outside eating, or she is really hungry. She loves lima beans!
