Halloween this year was a lot of fun with having two kids that were really able to take part in all the fun activities! The kids painted pumpkins, made cookies, and went trick-or-treating on Peterson Air Force Base with some of their friends! Owen also had a party at preschool where he was able to wear his costume all day, go trick-or-treating around the church, and then pick a pumpkin from their "pumpkin patch" (we all brought in one pumpkin and then the kids were able to pick one to take home!) Owen was so cute because he kept picking up these really nice pumpkins and putting them down. I told him he could take home whatever one he wanted and he said they were all too big and he wanted a little one. So he found the smallest one out there and came running up to Claire and gave it to her!! Ms. O (his teacher) was so impressed with his sharing that she let him go and pick another pumpkin! (they had extras) I was so proud of him! He also had two necklaces in his treat bag and gave one to Claire! Sometimes he really does surprise me! :) Halloween night ended up being a little chilly so Claire only wanted to stay out for a few houses but she did go up to get her candy! Neil then took her back to our friends' house to warm up and wait for Owen and me. Owen was very handsome as Batman and Claire was very cute in her tutu made my moi :)
