Ian's 1st Thanksgiving! (and Namde's Visit!)

This year was Ian's 1st Thanksgiving! He missed it by 5 days last year :) It is hard to believe that Ian celebrated his last "First" Holiday already. This year FLEW by..maybe because Ian is such a fun and easy baby to have around that time just seems to go by quickly! I guess we are lucky in that aspect.
We had two very special visitors this year for Thanksgiving. Carolyn and Madji came out here from Nashville and we had such a special time together. The kids loved having Uncle Madji and Auntie Carolyn around to play with. On Thanksgiving day, Jack and Nancy came down from Denver to help us celebrate and eat all the yummy food! It was the 1st Thanksgiving since getting married that we spent it with actual family and not our Air Force Family. I loved cooking for everyone even if I spent most of the time in the kitchen :)
The day after Thanksgiving we took Carolyn and Madji to our favorite breakfast spot in Green Mountain Falls called The Pantry. After we all stuffed ourselves silly (like we needed anymore food!), we drove to the top of Pikes Peak. At the top, it was below freezing! We were glad to get back into the 50s when we got back to the bottom!
We were very thankful to have such a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. Thank you Madji and Carolyn for spending your not-so-frequent time off from work with our wild and crazy kids :)

Watching the Parade...don't they look excited :)

Getting ready to eat! Realized I wore this sweater at Claire's 1st Thanksgiving as well!

Our 3 beautiful kids ready to eat!

Jack, the kids and the food!

All the family!

It was nice enough on Thanksgiving to take a walk around the neighborhood!

We saw Big foot on our drive to the top of Pikes Peak!
