On Tuesday, May 24th, Owen officially "graduated" from Holy Apostles Preschool! He had such a wonderful experience at this school and we are so blessed that we were able to enroll him. When I registered him back in February 2010, I wanted him in the morning class but it was currently full. So, against my desires, I enrolled him in the afternoon class and put him on the wait list for the morning class. My reasons for wanting him in the morning class all were centered around Claire's afternoon nap. This was before we were pregnant with Ian. So, it really did not matter since at least 1 kid was going to be messed up no matter what time he went! But, in the end, I would not have wanted him in the morning class because his teacher was FANTASTIC!!! She was so patient, strong, creative, and positive. Such a great role model for these kids and Owen ADORED her! The graduation consisted of the class singing songs that they had prepared all year including the all around favorite "Peanut Butter" Such a cute song! Then after songs, they received their certificates and candy! It was a simple but sweet program and perfect for a preschool graduation!
We look forward to Fall of 2o12 when Claire will start preschool there! But next chapter for Owen??...KINDERGARTEN!!!
